Short biography

The Originals are a four-piece 1960s band from Stockport, Greater Manchester, fronted by Craig Hallsworth (lead vocals and rhythm guitar), with Pete (lead guitar), Roy (bass) and Andy (drums). All four members sing, giving the band genuine 60s harmonies. They perform the Merseybeat and British Invasion songbook of The Beatles, The Hollies, The Kinks, The Searchers and The Monkees, alongside 60s favourites from Del Shannon, Elvis and more. Set formats are flexible: 2 × 45 min, 45 + 60 min, 3 × 30 min or a single 60-minute set, all with period patter.

In 2026 the band played 33 dates across Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Lancashire, Merseyside, North Wales and West and South Yorkshire. Nine venues booked them more than once. In October 2026 they are billed alongside classic hit-makers Edison Lighthouse and The Fourmost at the "Ready Steady Go!" Southport 60's Weekend.
